Practise the round you actually have next
The same resume gets four different interviews. The recruiter checks your timeline and why you left. The hiring manager wants to know which part you personally did. The technical expert asks why you didn't use something simpler. The executive asks why you are worth the offer. Practising the wrong round means rehearsing answers nobody will ask for.
MockLive has five interviewers, one for each of the five rounds most hiring processes use. Each follows its own script — opening, resume drill, competency, pressure, your questions — and each follows up in its own way.
Language note: the practice room's on-screen controls are currently in Chinese. Under 高级设置 (Advanced settings), set the interview language to English — the interviewer then asks, follows up and writes your report in English.

- 1
Paste the job description you are targeting (required) — the interviewer builds questions from the skills and business context it asks for.
- 2
Add your resume (PDF, DOC, DOCX or TXT; optional but recommended) — the interviewer will press on gaps, numbers and what you actually led.
- 3
Answer out loud. The interviewer moves through scripted stages and keeps following up on vague answers.
- 4
Get the report: a three-tier hiring verdict, six dimension ratings, and every criticism quoted from your exact words with the original audio to replay.
What you get afterwards
- A three-tier hiring verdict — Hire / Borderline / No-hire risk — instead of an inflated score.
- Ratings on six dimensions: content credibility, structure, role fit, handling follow-ups, delivery and pacing, and the quality of your own questions.
- Three to six pieces of evidence, each of which must be a verbatim fragment of what you said — if a quote doesn't match the transcript, the whole report is rejected — each with the original audio to replay.
- Question-by-question notes: what you said, what was wrong with it, and a better way to say it; plus the interviewer's overall note, up to three next actions, and the questions you skipped.
- The report flags your weakest dimensions, and you can start a practice round aimed at exactly those.
