  1. English site, new payments, Google sign-in and report sharing

    • The site is available in Simplified Chinese (/zh-CN) and English (/en), with each language on its own URLs.
    • Payments are now handled by Waffo Pancake as merchant of record; we never see or store your card number.
    • Optional sign-in with a Google account.
    • You can share a report through a link; what is shared is a copy with personal details removed.
    • A public sample report and the first interview-method articles went live.

    Commit: f5d1aba

  2. Smoother live interviews: honest captions, automatic next turn, questions tied to your resume and JD

    • When your browser can't show live captions, the room now says so and explains that your recording is still transcribed and scored on the server, instead of showing “capturing” forever.
    • About 1.5 seconds after the interviewer's follow-up finishes, the next answer starts recording automatically; you can start right away or pause to think.
    • The interviewer's questions now name real projects and numbers from your resume and are anchored to the job description, instead of generic “tell me about yourself” prompts.

    Commit: 9ab69c5

  3. Model answers when you're stuck, then restate them in your own words

    • When you can't answer, you can ask for a model answer, read it, and restate it in your own words; the interviewer never reads the answer out, so the mock stays in character.
    • The report notes which questions you viewed a model answer for, and judges how well you restated and absorbed it.

    Commit: b2d9636

  4. Targeted practice on your two weakest dimensions

    • Start a targeted practice round straight from a report. Its questions focus on the two weakest dimensions from your most recent full mock with that interviewer, for up to 10 turns.

    Commit: c7d34d7

  5. Compare with your last attempt

    • A report now compares your verdict with your previous full mock with the same interviewer — improved, same or worse — and marks the dimensions that changed.
    • Your history shows the run of verdicts for each interviewer.

    Commit: 26790d5

  6. The interview scorecard: three-tier verdict, six dimensions, verbatim quotes

    • Reports give a three-tier hiring verdict (Hire / Borderline / No-hire risk) and a rating on six dimensions.
    • Question-by-question feedback: your exact words, what was wrong, and a better answer; plus the interviewer's note, next actions and the questions you didn't answer.
    • Every quote is checked word for word against your transcript, and a report whose quotes don't match is never shown. This replaced the earlier IELTS speaking scores.

    Commit: 597dc93

  7. Upload your resume, and the interviewer probes its weak spots

    • Upload a PDF, DOCX or DOC resume and it is parsed automatically, with no confirmation step.
    • Gaps longer than three months, roles shorter than a year and results without numbers are flagged, and the interviewer raises them with you during the mock.

    Commit: 1ec02414cbb26b

  8. Five interviewers, each running scripted stages

    • MockLive became job-interview practice with five interviewers: HR screen, hiring manager, technical expert, department head and executive final round.
    • Each session moves through opening, resume drill, competency, pressure and your questions; intensity can be gentle, standard or stress, and gentle skips the pressure stage.

    Commit: 10a431f3a08a05

  9. First version

    • MockLive's first version was IELTS speaking practice: answer out loud, get a server-side transcript and a scored report whose evidence you can replay. The first session was free.
